Being an advocate for healthy eating while also indulging in a love of baking can be really difficult sometimes.
Finding a middle-ground is almost impossible, and for me it seems like I jump from one extreme to the other. One day I’m deep-frying doughnuts, the next I’m showing you my kale smoothie.
Life really is all about balance, and I want to get that message across on here. Although I bake a lot of things high in sugar, I find just as much pleasure in developing savoury mains full of vegetables.
So, in honour of finding said balance, I present to you these Lemon and Turmeric Bliss Balls, crafted from raw and unrefined ingredients.
They pack a punch in terms of flavour, and are a delight to look at.
The syrupy sweetness is neutralised by the gentle spice of turmeric, making for a truly balanced, guilt-free bite.
